My name is Ada Deschanel.
Food is my obsession, and lucky for me, it has become my work.
Based between Paris and Hong Kong, I wear many hats: food stylist, food photographer, filmmaker, author, private chef. The common thread? Everything always come back to the plate!
I’ve worked with brands like Nutella, Nespresso, Boursin, MacDonald’s, styled and shot for editorial and commercial clients across Europe and Asia and cooked for everything and everyone, from Pilates retreats to intimate private dinners, restaurant pop-ups and Paris Fashion Week.
I’m also the co-author of Hong Kong A La Carte (Solar Editions), a book of 70 recipes and 20 portraits of Asia’s most fascinating city, which I wrote and photographed alongside with Davina Chang.
The book has been translated in English: A Taste of Hong Kong and will soon be translated in German.
Some of my other titles include Fait maison : burrata, mozzarella et ricotta and Fait maison : infusions, both published by Hachette.
Whether I’m behind a camera, at a stove, or at a desk, I’m always telling a story about food, and the people who make it.
I’m always keen on working on creative projects with passionate people, in Paris, Hong Kong, or absolutely anywhere else in the world.
Let’s talk!
